ID Released For Fairfield County Man Killed After SUV Plunges Into Harbor On Christmas Eve Police have released the identity of a 33-year-old Fairfield County man whose vehicle plunged into an icy harbor on Christmas Eve. Bridgeport resident Jamal Gordon died during the early morning hours on Saturday, Dec. 24 after his BMW SUV left the roadway and landed in Bridgeport Harbor, said Capt. Brian Fitzgerald of the Bridgeport Police. Body Found In Bridgeport Harbor ID'd As Man Wanted For Attempted Murder A man found floating in Bridgeport Harbor has been identified as a person wanted for the alleged attempted murder of his girlfriend.  The body of Universal Yancey was discovered around 11:47 a.m., Monday, Sept. 30, in the area of 1 Atlantic St., said Rowena White, spokesperson for the Bridgeport Police Department. Police had asked the public last week to be on the lookout for Yancey following the attempted stabbing of his girlfriend on Thursday, Sept. 26, on Fairfield Avenue, White said.
