A man is facing years in prison after pleading guilty to three bank robberies in Connecticut.
Francesco Pensiero, "Frank," age 51, of Stamford, admitted the 2020 robberies on Tuesday, June 4, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, Pensiero and an associate robbed the Chase Bank located at 2855 Main St., in Stratford.

A Connecticut woman has been charged with allegedly robbing two banks, two days in a row.
Heather Brown, age 48, of New Haven, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 12 for the two robberies that occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 7 in New Haven County in Waterbury.
According to Lt. Nadine Amatruda of the Waterbury Police, around 9:55 a.m., Feb. 6, a woman walked into the Wells Fargo. Bank on Wolcott Street and asked a teller for deposit slips. She then a note to the teller to hand over all of the cash. She left the bank with the money.

Two Connecticut men have been arrested for allegedly carrying out multiple robberies this summer at People’s United Bank branches located in Stop & Shop supermarkets in the state.
Middlesex County residents, Gino Rizzo, age 28, and Jalania Pantano, age 27, both of Middletown, were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 30 on an indictment charging them with bank robbery offenses, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Wanted Alleged CT Bank Robber Nabbed
A woman who was on the run after robbing a Connecticut bank has been captured by police.
The robbery occurred in New Haven County around 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 17, in Hamden at the Connex Credit Union, at 2100 Dixwell Ave.
Hamden police responded to the bank and learned the suspect, identified as Natalie Medor, age 36 of Hamden, had entered the credit union and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, said Det. Sean Dolan, of the Hamden Police.
No weapons were displayed and no one was injured.

A Connecticut man has been arrested in less than 24 hours for allegedly robbing a bank inside a supermarket.
The robbery took place in New Haven County in Naugatuck around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, at the People’s Bank inside the Stop & Shop.
Michael Timothy Alldredge, age 43, of Milford, was arrested around 3 p.m., Thursday, July 28, and charged with second-degree robbery, said the Naugatuck Police.

Fairfield County Bank Robbery Suspect Surrenders To Police
A man wanted for the robbery of a Fairfield County bank turned himself in to police one day after his wanted photo was plastered everywhere by the media.
Joseph Heffner, aka “JC”, age 42, of Greenwich, surrendered to Greenwich Police at 11 am Thursday, June 2, after learning that there was a warrant for his arrest.
On the morning of Wednesday, May 11, Heffner allegedly entered the M&T Bank in Cos Cob and demanded money, Capt. Mark Zuccerella said.
No weapon was displayed, and he made off with less than $5,000, Zuccerella added.
