A 27-year-old Connecticut man is facing arson charges after police say he started a fire at his home earlier this year, causing a massive police and firefighter response, authorities said.
Former Middlesex County resident James Jones, 27, of East Hampton, was arrested last month after investigators linked him to a house fire on March 19, East Hampton Police said.
Police, paramedics, and firefighters were called to a two-alarm fire at 46 School House Lane on Tuesday, March 19.

Gregory Phillip Gulick, of Southbury, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 4, and charged with third-degree arson in connection to a blaze at the Southbury Training School, Connecticut State Police reported.

George Dodson, age 23, of New London, was arrested on Wednesday, July 20, and charged with murder, said Capt. Matthew Galante, of the New London Police.

Kadeem Frazer, age 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested for his role in the Saturday, Oct. 2, murder of Jonathan DaSilva at the VIP Lounge on Pembroke Street.

Plainfield Police have arrested an alleged serial arsonist.
Roland Bourque III, 29, of Moosup, Connecticut, was arrested Thursday, July 23, on two counts of arson, WTNH reported.
The charges stem from two fires: June 22, 2016, on South Main Street; and Aug. 17, 2017, on Roy Street.
Bourque alleged confessed to setting the fires when he was arrested after being caught trying to set fire to an abandoned resident on May 2, WTHN reported.

The call for the first fire was received around 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, in Litchfield County, at a two-story, cape style single-family home in Torrington, said Torrington Police Lt. Brett Johnson.

A 46-year-old man was nabbed on an out-of-state warrant after getting into a fight with his employer.
Justin Crenshaw, of Greenwich, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, after police responded to Executive Deli and Catering for a report of an argument between the business owner and an employee, said the Greenwich Police.
Officers determined that the employee, Crenshaw, had just quit his job and wanted to be paid for his last worked shift.
