17-Year-Old Found Shot Near Baltimore Apartment Building: Police A teen was found shot near a Baltimore apartment building before dawn on Thursday, February 15, police say. Officers responded to the shooting report near the 4600 block of Pen Lucy Road just after 5:25 a.m. and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the hand, according to the Baltimore Police Department. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The location of the shooting is unknown, police added. Police ID Pedestrian Killed By Roll-Off Truck In Baltimore County Police have identified the pedestrian killed by a roll-off truck in Baltimore County on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 13. Maynor A. Ortega-Garcia, 21, was struck around 2:30 p.m. while attempting to cross in front of a roll-off truck heading toward an exit gate at a facility near the 1900 block of Graves Court in Dundalk, Baltimore County Police said. Woman, Baby Found Dead In Baltimore Home: Police Police are investigating the deaths of a woman and baby found in a home in Baltimore Tuesday morning, Feb. 13. The 32-year-old woman was found dead in a home on the 1800 block of McCulloh Street with her one-year-old baby around 10:05 a.m., Baltimore Police Det. Vernon Davis told Daily Voice Wednesday. Former Maryland HS Track Coach Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Teen Athlete A former high school track coach in Maryland has been sentenced for the sexual abuse of a teen athlete, authorities said on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Giovanni Reumante, 34, of Takoma Park, was sentenced to five years with all but one year suspended and three years of supervised probation upon release, the the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office announced. He has waived two years of credit for time served as part of his plea agreement and will be registered a sex offender for life upon his release.
