AG Releases Footage Of Deadly Officer-Involved Shooting At Pikesville Gas Station Newly released body-cam footage shows the officer-involved shooting of an armed 29-year-old man at a Baltimore County gas station in early January. Windsor Mill resident Sha-Kim Akil Webley was previously identified by the Maryland AG’s Office as the person who was shot to death by police after he allegedly pointed a weapon toward officers pursuing him. Webley was shot on Jan. 9 after a domestic disturbance investigation led to officers tracking him down at a gas station near the 400 block of Reistertown Road in Pikesville, the AG's Office said. 2 Shot Dead In Middle River: Police Two people were shot and killed in Baltimore County Thursday night, police said. Officers responded to investigate the shooting report on the 9600 block of Pulaski Highway in Middle River around 8:30 p.m. and found both victims with multiple gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is being led by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact 410-307-2020. Police Find Loaded Handgun In Stolen Car As Driver Flees, Crashes In Crofton A loaded handgun was found inside a stolen vehicle following a crash in Anne Arundel County overnight Friday, leading to pending charges for the injured driver, police said. It happened on Route 3 near Defense Highway in Crofton around 12:40 a.m., AACPD said. Officers tried to stop a white 2011 Infinity G37 that then fled and ran a stop sign before crashing into another vehicle. Police Probe Armed Carjacking In Glen Burnie Police are investigating a gunpoint carjacking that occurred in Anne Arundel County on Thursday night. It happened near the 300 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie around 10:15 p.m., AACPD said. A 24-year-old woman was exiting her gray 2008 Infiniti when she was approached by two male suspects, one of whom displayed a handgun and demanded the keys. Driver Hospitalized Following 3-Vehicle Crash In Bethesda A driver was taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle accident in Montgomery County early Thursday morning, March 14. The collision occurred on on Old Georgetown Rd. at Center Drive near NIH Headquarters in Bethesda around 6:15 a.m., the B-CC Rescue Squad said. Suspect Charged With Murder Following Southeast District Shooting: Baltimore Police Baltimore Police arrested a suspect following a Southeast District shooting that took a 42-year-old man’s life earlier this week. Tyquann Flythe, 25, of Baltimore, was charged with first-degree murder and other offenses, police said Thursday, March 14. Flythe is accused of fatally shooting the victim on the the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway on Monday, March 11. The victim was left in critical condition and later pronounced dead. His identity was not released. Flythe was being held at the the Central Booking Intake Facility following his arrest on Tuesday.

Border Patrol Officers Intercept 32-Pound Load Of Pot Heading To London Through BWI Airport Border patrol officers intercepted a 32-pound load of pot that was heading to London through BWI airport in late February. CBP officers said in a Wednesday, March 13 release that the load was smuggled through along with a 22-year-old California woman heading to London on Sunday, Feb. 25. It was found in a suitcase that was being loaded onto the Reykjavik, Iceland-bound flight. The traveler had follow-on travel to London.
