Jonathan Figueroa, of Naugatuck, was arrested around midnight Thursday after Naugatuck Police were called to the Santos' Restuarant on Church Street regarding a fight, said the Naugatuck Police in an arrest report.
According to the report, Figueroa had punched another patron in the bar of the restaurant and then after being told to leave, he returned threatening to "shoot patrons," while gesturing with his hands that he was carrying a pistol.
Police responded and stopped Figueroa while he was driving a short distance away on Maple Street.
An investigation found that Figueroa was driving under the influence, police said.
A pistol or firearm was not recovered.
He was charged with threatening, DUI, and breach of peace.
Figueroa was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 20.
