Suspect On Run Following CT High-Speed Crash, Guns, Drugs Seized Police in New Haven County are searching for a suspect who allegedly ran a red light at a high rate of speed in a Mercedes and slammed into another vehicle, knocking down a light pole and injuring several. The incident occurred in the town of Orange around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at Boston Post Road in the left lane approaching Lambert Road. Woman Struck By Several Vehicles While Crossing Busy CT Roadway, Police Say A 43-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after she was struck by multiple vehicles while crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place in New Haven County in Orange around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 on Boston Post Road in front of McDonald's. Responding officers found the victim lying in the roadway with multiple traumatic injuries, said Assistant Chief Max Martins of the Orange Police Department. The victim, identified as Khurshida Mohamadi, age 43, of West Haven was transported by AMR ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital where she was pronounced dead, said Martins.  The Depar…

Man Shot, Killed While Working At CT Store A 27-year-old is behind bars after allegedly shooting another man to death at an area tire store. The victim was killed while at work around 8:50 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, in New Haven County at Town Fair Tire, 63 Boston Post Road in Orange, said the Orange Police Department. According to police, Joshwua Figueroa, of New Haven, was shot multiple times by Terrance Allen, 24, also of New Haven, as he was working at the tire store. Greenwich Man Accused Of Stealing $1K In Merchandise From Post Road Store A Greenwich man was arrested after allegedly stealing more than a $1,000 in goods from the Burlington Coat Factory. Brandon M. McLaughlin, 25, of Greenwich's Cos Cob area, was arrested on Jan. 2, by Orange Police after they responded to the store at 80 Boston Post Road, for a larceny in progress, said the Orange Police Department.
