Matthew Hayes, 67, Dumont Resident DUMONT, N.J. -- Matthew Hayes, of Dumont, died on Saturday, Feb. 4. He was 67.  Hayes was a truck driver with All Chem Transport Co., of Lakewood, for more than 30 years. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local No. 560.  He was a former councilman of Dumont and a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus St. Johns Council No. 1345, as well as a past Faithful Navigator of the Color Corps. He also served as chairman for the March for Life drive.  Hayes was also a devoted parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, in Dumont, where he was a member of the Parish Council and also served as an usher. …
