Ridgefield Road Blocked By Downed Power Lines RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Ridgefield police were on the scene of downed wires Tuesday afternoon on Prospect Ridge Road. The road was closed in the area due to the downed wires, and motorists were urged to seek an alternate route.  The incident is near East Ridge Middle School.  Eversource was not reporting any power outages in the area. It was not clear when the scene would be cleared.
