Young Middle School, the City School District of New Rochelle recently announced. The program is gaining popularity and drawing additional students every week. Somers Library Plans Snowman-Building Contest SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers Library will host a snowman-building contest on Saturday, Jan. 28, in the side yard of the library. This program is for teens/tweens in grades 6 and up. The person who builds the best snowman will win a winter-themed basket. If it doesn't snow on that date, guests are invited to make Model Magic snowmen in the library's program room. There will be plenty of hot chocolate for all at the event.
