FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. ? If this was an early Halloween trick, it wasn't a bit funny. Fairfield County's trees took a beating Saturday as a heavy, moisture-laden snow fell on branches that had yet to lose their leaves. Falling limbs left thousands without power all over the region.
