As frigid temperatures linger in the teens, snow is expected to move into the area overnight.
Fairfield County could see between 1 and 2 inches of snow between 4 a.m. and dawn on Friday, followed by the flurries until 9 a.m., according to accuweather.com.
Friday's high temperature will struggle to reach the freezing mark, although cloudy skies are expected to break for mostly sunny skies in the afternoon.
Temperatures drop back to the low 20s on Saturday with mostly sunny skies.
Clouds move into the area on Sunday with a high temperature around 33 degrees.
