“We should be in the 30’s this time of year,” said Accuweather meterologist Dan Depodwin, and we’re likely to see those temperatures over the weekend. The week will start off with the unseasonable mid-50 degrees weather Monday before cooling off into the low 40’s Tuesday through Thursday.
Rain is expected Monday morning and there is a small chance that there will be some snow Tuesday night. The second half of the week should be clear skies and sunny, Depodwin said.
Come Friday, Depodwin said that the temperatures should slip into the 30’s during the day and into the 20’s and teens at night.
The end of the month is when Depodwin said the Arctic blast that hit the Midwest will come towards Fairfield County.
“It could turn very chilly, 20s during the day and low single digits at night,” he said.
Weather forecasts are subject to change, so remember to check for more updated information toward the end of the week.
