Accumulating Snow Likely Overnight In Norwalk

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Brace for it: Fairfield County could see some small snow accumulation Thursday evening and into early Friday as temperatures fall across the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain and snow are expected, with snowfall starting after 1 a.m. Friday. Temperatures will drop overnight into the uppers 20s and low 30s.  

Snow accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch, and there is also a slight chance of snow before 9 a.m. Friday  according to the weather report. It would be the first snowfall of the season across the area.

On Friday, it will be mostly cloudy, and gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 42. But wind chill values will be 20 to 30 with northwest wind 6 to 10 mph. 

Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 38. Sunday will be warmer, in the mid-40s, but mostly cloudy. 

There's a chance of another light snowfall Sunday niht.
