Accidents Slow Traffic On I-95 Near Norwalk, Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A pair of accidents has slowed down I-95 in both directions in the area of Westport and Norwalk Wednesday afternoon.

Traffic is congested in both directions on I-95 between Norwalk and Westport Wednesday afternoon.

I-95 southbound traffic is congested between exits 19 and 16 because of a two-car accident between exits 17 and 16. As of 1:30 p.m., the left lane is closed to traffic.

I-95 northbound traffic is congested between exits 12 and 19 because of a two-car accident between exits 18 and 19. As of 1:30 p.m., the right and center lanes are closed.
