Stratford Brothers Throw Assault Rifle Out Car Window Fleeing Traffic Stop, Police Say
Two Fairfield County brothers have been arrested for allegedly throwing an illegal assault rifle out of a car window while fleeing from a traffic stop.
Charlie Echevarria, age 28, and Moses Echevarria, age 24, both of Stratford, were arrested on Lenox Avenue on Sunday, June 11, said Lt. Robert Burroughs, of the Stratford Police.
Burroughs said the arrest stems from an incident on Tuesday, May 23 when while fleeing from police they threw a duffel bag out the car window that contained an assault rifle.
The weapon, which did not have a serial number is considered a Ghost Gun, Burroughs said…
CT Man Accused Of Nearly Hitting Trick-Or-Treaters With Car, Pulling Gun On Parents
A Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun after a fight with the parents of trick-or-treaters.
The incident took place in Hartford County around 8:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31 in Enfield.
A man, identified as Robert Corey, age 20, was driving a silver Saturn on Silver Lane when he drove too close to kids walking along the roadway trick-or-treating, according to Chief Alaric J. Fox, of the Enfield Police,
Police say the parents of the trick-or-treaters confronted Corey, a resident of Enfield, claiming he nearly hit their kids with his car.

Sixth Teen Charged In CT Homicide
A sixth, and what police believe is final Connecticut teen has been arrested in connection with the attempted robbery and murder of another teen.
The 16-year-od teen was arrested on Monday, Jan. 25, by Waterbury Police, who says he was involved in the robbery-gone-wrong, that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Taevan Mosher, on Friday, Jan. 22, in Waterbury, said Lieutenant David Silverio.
According to Silverio, around 12:23 a.m., Jan. 22, Waterbury Police were called to the area of 43 Esther Ave., for a report of gunshots.
