A man dressed in dark clothing was caught by troopers allegedly attempting to break into Connecticut State Police vehicles. The incident took place in Hartford in the rear parking lot of Troop H on Washington Street on Tuesday, Dec. 27. According to state police, troopers from the Troop H barracks noticed a man dressed in dark clothing in the rear personnel parking area. A Connecticut customer cashed in a CT Lottery ticket worth two million dollars that was sold at an area gas station this week. On Monday, Aug. 16, an Avon resident cashed in a "Win Up To $10,000 A Month For Life 2nd Edition" ticket worth $2 million that was sold at the Mobil Mart on Washington Street in Hartford. 19 Drive-Through Test Sites Opening At 12 Connecticut Pharmacies
A dozen new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) testing facilities are opening up at Connecticut CVS locations as the state begins plans to slowly reopen the economy next week. On Friday, May 15, CVS will open the 12 new drive-through COVID-19 test sites throughout Connecticut that will utilize self-swab tests that “mark the next phase of the company’s strategy” in combating the spread of the virus.
