43-Year-Old Struck, Killed On CT Roadway A 43-year-old Connecticut woman was killed when she was struck by a car as she was walking along a roadway, police said.  The incident took place in Tolland County around 5:15 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 7 in Vernon, in the area of 135 Talcottville Road. When police arrived on the scene they found Trina Gould, of Vernon, lying in the southbound lane of the roadway, said Lt. Robert Marra of the Vernon Police. Motorcycle Reportedly 'Split In Two' In CT Crash Multiple agencies responded to a crash in Connecticut after a caller reported that a motorcycle had "split in two." Authorities responded at about 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, to a crash that happened in Tolland County on I-84 westbound near Exit 67 in Vernon, according to the Town of Vernon Fire Department. There were no major injuries in the crash, authorities said. Vernon EMS, Rockville Medic, and Connecticut State Police also responded to the scene, fire officials said.
