Toyota Motor North America announced this week that it is conducting a safety recall of select Lexus models that were manufactured between 2006 and 2014. Two Killed In Fairfield County Crash Two people were killed and at least two others were transported to an area hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. The crash, which occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday in the area of 661 River Road in Shelton, closed the road, also known as Route 110, for several hours as police investigated the crash. The initial investigation revealed that two vehicles were involved in the crash and that two people were confirmed dead at the scene, police said.  Police have not released the names of the two who were killed.
