Lexus Issues Recall To Fix Fuel Leaks
Toyota is recalling more than $100,000 luxury Lexus vehicles due to a condition that can cause fuel to leak and lead to an increase in car fires. Toyota Motor North America announced this week that it is conducting a safety recall of select Lexus models that were manufactured between 2006 and 2014. In total, an estimated 115,000 units are being recalled throughout the nation. Two Killed In Fairfield County Crash
Two people were killed and at least two others were transported to an area hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. The crash, which occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday in the area of 661 River Road in Shelton, closed the road, also known as Route 110, for several hours as police investigated the crash. The initial investigation revealed that two vehicles were involved in the crash and that two people were confirmed dead at the scene, police said. Connecticut State Police officials are encouraging the community to lock their cars at night as detectives continue their investigation into a suspicious man who was caught on surveillance cameras peering into a car looking for property to steal.
