Carjackings, Pursuit Through Three Fairfield County Towns Ends With Armed Suspects In Custody Three armed men who were allegedly attempting to carjack vehicles at gunpoint were nabbed after a wild chase through three towns. The incident began around midnight on Thursday, Dec. 12, when a silver BMW was carjacked at gunpoint in New Haven, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras.  Within 30 minutes, it is believed that three suspects then drove to Norwalk and unsuccessfully attempted to carjack a Maserati at gunpoint.  The three then were able to successfully carjack a blue Nissan Altima at gunpoint.
