CT Teens Fleeing Liquor Store Theft Crash Into Home, Cars, Police Say
Two Connecticut teens were charged after they allegedly stole from a liquor store and then crashed into two vehicles and a mobile home while attempting to escape police capture.
The incident took place in Hartford County around noon, Monday, Jan. 17, in Southington.
Officers responded to a call from Queen Street Liquors at 1079 Queen St. on a report of a theft from the package store.
According to Lt. Keith Egan, of the Southington Police, the two teens fled down Aircraft Road, hit two cars and a mobile home on Hemlock Road before fleeing on foot.

CT Man Sentenced For Fentanyl Distribution, Theft Of Government Property
A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 16 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for theft and narcotics offenses.
Jose Nanez-Torres, also as known as "J-Money," age 21, of Hartford, was sentenced on Monday, Jan. 10, said Leonard C Boyle, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, in January 2019, Nunez-Torres and Dominque Perry stole a 2016 Honda Accord from a residence in Newington.

Two Items Valued At $10,000 Stolen From Norwalk Appliance Store
Police are on the hunt for a thief who stole two expensive grills from an appliance store in Fairfield County.
The incident took place on Monday, Dec. 20, at Aitoro Appliances at 401 Westport Ave., in Norwalk, said Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police.
The grills, worth $5,000 each, were originally located to the rear of the building on top of storage containers but were being assembled to be displayed.

Trio Accused Of Stealing From Multiple Stores Throughout CT
Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing large spools of wire at Lowe's stores across Connecticut.
The trio, identified as Daniel Raymond Thomas, age 22, Clarence Gerald Davis, age 22, and 23-year-old Marcus Hunter, all of Fort Worth, Texas, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Hartford County when the Southington Police responded to the Lowes Home Improvement, at 500 Executive Blvd S., on a report of a theft of large spools of wire in progress.
