Trooper Escorts Woman In Labor After Stopping Car Going 100 MPH In Region What started as a traffic stop for a car traveling over 100 miles per hour ended with a state trooper escorting the vehicle to a local hospital to deliver a baby in Western Massachusets. The special delivery took place around 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, in Hampden County when Trooper Jose Cabrera, assigned to the Springfield Barracks, stopped a vehicle for traveling over 100 miles per hour on Route 91 southbound in West Springfield, said the Massachusetts State Police.
