Stamford Woman With Baby In Car Tased By Police A Stamford woman with her one-month-old child in the car was tased by Stamford Police after resisting arrest for not having a front license plate, Stamford Police said. Shyieca Bacchas, 34,  refused to roll down her window when first pulled over around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Sgt. Robert Shawinsky. Eventually, Bacchas rolled down the window and began immediately cursing at the officers and even tried to drive away, almost hitting one of the officers, Shawinsky said.
