26-Year-Old Woman's Suspicious Death In Redding Under Investigation
Connecticut State Police's Major Crimes Squad has taken over the case of a suspicious death of a 26-year-old Fairfield County woman whose body was found in a wooded area. Related: Body Found In Redding On Route 53 The victim, identified as Leah Chaparro, of Bridgeport, was discovered on Sunday, Feb. 18 by a jogger in Redding on Route 53 (Glen Road). Body Found On Roadway In Redding
Connecticut State Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area of a roadway in Fairfield County. The incident happened in Redding on Route 53 also known as Glen Road on Sunday, Feb. 18. According to Connecticut State Police, the department is actively investigating the find and working to identify the body. Redding Police say there is no threat to the public. Man Apprehended After Construction Machine From Town Of Wilton Public Works Yard, Police Say
The investigation into a stolen construction machine from a Town of Wilton Department of Public Works yard led to the arrest of a man who was busted after being caught towing it. Members of the Wilton Police Department were dispatched to the Public Works yard at Allen’s Field at approximately 7:30 a.m., when it was discovered that someone had forced his way into the gated property that had been secured by a chain and lock.
