Tree Cutting Will Cause Merritt Parkway Daytime Lane Closures For Weeks
There will be daytime closures on the Merritt Parkway for several weeks as crews conduct a tree-cutting project in Fairfield County. The Connecticut State Department of Transportation announced that crews will be cutting down dead trees, high limbs, and clearing signs on a five-mile stretch of the parkway in Greenwich. Crash Causes Delays On Merritt
This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of the Merritt Parkway after a crash that took out the left lane for more than a half hour late Friday afternoon. Expect Delays: New Round Of Tree Removal Scheduled For Merritt Parkway
A tree removal operation will lead to lane closures and delays on the Merritt Parkway during the weekend. The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that there will be tree removal on Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) over the weekend in Greenwich, leading to temporary morning lane closures.
