Man Arrested In Connection With Shooting At Norwalk Housing Complex A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a person at an area housing complex. Norwalk Police responded to the shooting around 10 a.m., Thursday, June 11, after receiving a report of the incident at Roodner Court at 261 Ely Ave. Officers arrived and found one victim, who was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. The shooter, later identified as Marcus Bonaparte, address unknown, and the victim knew each other, police said. Police issued a description of Bonaparte and his vehicle to area law enforcement agencies.…

The incident took place around 12:20 p.m., Thursday, June 11, at the Fairfield County Firearms & Archery, at 4 New Canaan Ave., in Norwalk, police said, Police said they are "investigating what appears to be an intentional self-inflicted gunshot wound." The individual has not been identified. The incident is contained, and there is no public threat, police said. The shooting was the second in Norwalk on Thursday.
