The collision took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the area of Railroad Avenue and Hancock Avenue. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, the 911 Center received several calls regarding a sport utility vehicle that had struck a pole. Callers were uncertain if any occupants were still in the SUV. James McClain, age 58, of Waterbury, was found around 11:48 p.m., Friday, March 19 after officers responded to the intersection of Norman Street and Railroad Avenue in Bridgeport on the report of an unresponsive party. Emergency personnel located McClain lying on the sidewalk at 34 Norman St., Bridgeport PD Capt. Kevin Gilleran said. The incident took place around 11 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Went Field Park near Railroad Avenue in Bridgeport. Norwalk resident Deondre Bowden, 26, was sentenced to 55 years in prison for fatally shooting New Haven resident Lawn Toles, 43, who was reportedly his best friend. New DNA Technology Produces Sketch Of Cold Case Homicide Victim Bridgeport Police Officers released two detailed composite images they believe are of a female murder victim dating back to a 1993 homicide.  The two images were derived from DNA taken from the victim using new technology to create a genealogical profile of the woman found dead on June 5, 1993.  That day, Bridgeport Police discovered a body on a vacant lot at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Railroad Avenue in the south end of Bridgeport.
