Teen Stabs Woman In Random Westport Shopping Plaza Attack, Police Say
An 18-year-old is being held on a $1 million bail after allegedly randomly attacking and stabbing a Greenwich woman while she was sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot.
Ellis Tibere, of Guilford, was arrested after a manhunt following the incident that took place around 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, at 1137 Post Road East in Westport, said Westport Police Lt. Anthony Prezioso.
According to Prezioso, the victim, a 33-year-old woman, was sitting in her vehicle, when Tibere, wearing a masking and brandishing a knife, opened her car door and began stabbing her.
