Trumbull Police Welcome New Officers The Trumbull Police Department recently welcomed the addition of three police officer recruits to the town’s police force.  The three, including James Kassimis, 29 of Mamaroneck, Caitlin Murphy, 26 of Shelton, and Matthew O’Connor, 24 of Southington, were sworn in as recruits on Monday, during a ceremony at Trumbull Town Hall  The group will attend the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden for nearly six months of law enforcement training beginning Friday.
