Man Charged For Fatal Shooting Outside Lounge In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been charged with the murder of another man outside an area lounge. Robert Sorrells, age 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 21 for the murder of Jonathan DaSilva, according to Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management.  Bridgeport Police Det. Bridgeport Firefighters Safely Evacuate 25 Residents During Fire Some 25 Bridgeport residents were safely evacuated from their homes during a fire on Pembroke Street. The incident took place around 11:20 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 1387 Pembroke St., which is a six-unit home, said the Bridgeport Fire Department. Suspect At Large After Two Shot In Bridgeport Police are still searching for suspects in the weekend shooting of two men in Bridgeport. The shooting took place around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, April 20, at Pembroke and Arctic streets, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
