Woman Charged With Larceny In Darien For Using Stolen License Plate, Police Say A 47-year-old woman was charged in Fairfield County with larceny after allegedly using a license plate that had been reported stolen from another vehicle. Sera Fina, address unknown, was arrested in Darien on Thursday, Sept. 7 after she approached a police officer for help with her vehicle.  According to Darien Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, while the officer was checking the vehicle's license plate they discovered it was reported stolen. It happened just after midnight on Friday, Aug. 18 in Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police. Troopers saw Bonifilio Ortiz-Perez, who turned 21 in July, driving west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 384 near exit 4. Police: Mom Under Influence Resists Arrest While Picking Up Child At School A Hudson Valley mom was arrested after attempting to pick up her child from a Fairfield County school while drunk.  Wilton Police arrested Jolene Matthews, 41, of Monroe in Orange County, after receiving a call from the Goddard School for a report of an intoxicated parent attempting to pick-up their 4-year-old child, said Lt.
