Old Greenwich Woman Held On Intentional Cruelty To Persons Charges A 40-year-old woman was arrested for intentional cruelty following a months-long investigation by the Special Victims Unit. Evelyn Stowell of Old Greenwich was arrested Monday, July 2 on a warrant and charged with intentional cruelty to persons, the risk of injury to a child, and assault, following the investigation which began in April, an arrest report says. Greenwich Police officials said due to the nature of the crime, they could not release additional information. Stowell is being held on $25,000 bond.
