CT Man Kills Mother In Park, Calls 911 To Report Crime A Connecticut man is being held on a $2 million bond after he called 911 to report that he had killed his mother in an area park. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 8:30 a.m., Monday, June 5 at Harrybrooke Park in New Milford. According to New Milford Police, Erin Meagan, age 34, of New Milford, called 911 and told dispatchers that he had just killed his mother in the park. He remained on the phone for several minutes and described the events that led to the incident and his location along the river, police said. Witnesses Sought In Crash That Left Fairfield County Woman Dead, State Police Say Police are asking for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash on the Litchfield Turnpike that left a 39-year-old Fairfield County woman dead. Sharon May Piech, of Danbury, was killed around 1:34 p.m., Sunday, April 18 in Washington, following the violent crash, that also injured several other people, said the Connecticut State Police.
