Trio Nabbed For Norwalk Shots Fired Incident, Police Say
Three people, including a juvenile, were arrested in connection with gunshots being fired in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the area of 4 Merritt Street. Norwalk police responded to the area after receiving a 911 call of shots being fired in the area and three men running away, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police. Found Shot In Legs In Norwalk, Police Say
A man was found shot in the legs in Fairfield County after police received multiple phone calls reporting gunshots. The incident took place in Norwalk around 11 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4 in the area of South Main Street and Merritt Street. Responding officers located a crime scene in the area of South Main Street, but not a victim, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake. Registered Norwalk Sex Offender Fails To Report New Address
A registered sex offender in Fairfield County who was convicted of sexual abuse in 1989 is facing new charges after allegedly failing to disclose his new address in Norwalk. Westport Avenue resident Moses Thomas, 63, was charged with failure to register as a sexual offender this week after failing to report his address change in Fairfield County. Investigators said that police in Norwalk received a tip recently that Thomas had failed to update his address following an alleged recent move to a Westport Avenue hotel.
