Cow Crashes Into Car On Busy Upstate NY Roadway
An area driver received a minor injury after striking a cow that was in the roadway in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28 in Red Hook in Dutchess County. According to the Red Hook Police Department, officers were dispatched for a car versus cow auto accident on North Broadway. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2005 Dodge driven by a 64-year-old female from Livingston was headed northbound when a cow entered the busy roadway. Three Fairfield County Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
Several area motorists were among two dozen busted by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley for alleged impaired driving. Local residents facing charges include: Westchester County On Saturday, Feb. 23 State Police troopers from Livingston arrested Michael S. Grant, 31, of Elmsford, for DWI. New York State Police troopers busted more than two dozen motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the Thanksgiving holiday in the area. More than two dozen motorists were busted by New York State Police troopers recently as law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley continue a nationwide crackdown on drunk, drugged and distracted driving.
