Fairfield Woman, 44, Killed In I-95 Westport Crash A Fairfield County woman was killed after allegedly running into the back of a tanker on I-95 that was stopped for backed-up traffic. Julia Delva Clarke, age 44, of Fairfield, was killed around 12:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, in Westport, said the Connecticut State Police. A preliminary investigation found that Clarke was traveling north in the right lane in a 2019 Porsche Macan when she ran into the back of a Freightliner Cascadia which was towing a Kenworth tanker, state police said. Driver Cited In 6-Vehicle Crash On I-91 In Connecticut A driver was cited for traffic violations following a crash that involved six vehicles on I-91 in Connecticut. The crash happened in the Hartford County town of Wethersfield at about 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, Connecticut State Police reported. A 2016 Mercedes-Benz E400 driven by 66-year-old Michael Emons, of Rocky Hill, struck a 2007 Ford 7-650 that was parked on the right shoulder near Exit 25-26, police said. Police Seek Witnesses Of Fiery 2-Vehicle Crash That Killed Driver In CT A driver was killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash on a highway in Connecticut. The crash happened in Hartford County on I-91 near Exit 44 in East Windsor at about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, according to Connecticut State Police. A southbound 2017 Kenworth truck and another southbound vehicle collided in the right lane, causing a fire to engulf both vehicles, police said. State Police do not know the make and model of the second vehicle.
