Stamford Man Charged With Assaulting Woman At Parking Lot In Greenwich A Stamford man is facing numerous charges after police say he assaulted a woman in a Greenwich parking lot. Greenwich Police say they investigated a report of an assault that occurred in the lot on West Putnam Avenue on Friday, July 5. Statements from the victim report that she was physically assaulted by a man she knows, identified as Jose Rohena, 30, police say. During the assault, police say Rohena threatened to cause further harm to the victim and her family and prevented her from calling 911. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
