Fatal Hit-Run Crash: 41-Year-Old CT Man Left Lying In Roadway As Driver Flees
A 41-year-old Connecticut man was killed by a hit-and-run driver and left lying on the roadway as the driver fled. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at the intersection of Haven Street and Clay Street. The victim, identified as Jose Rodriguez, of New Haven, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle north on Haven Street when he was hit by an unknown green sedan that was traveling west on Clay Street toward Haven Street when the crash occurred, said Captain Rose Dell of the New Haven Police. 26-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Route 15 Crash
A 26-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight on a stretch of Route 15 in Wallingford. It happened around 11:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. That's when state police say a 2019 Toyota Highlander was traveling northbound between Exits 65 and 66 when the driver lost control and the vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a metal beam guardrail adjacent to the left lane.
