A popular eatery in Fairfield County temporarily closed for violating the state’s COVID-19 restrictions. Officials said that the Brickyard Pub on Post Road in Fairfield was fined and ordered to temporarily close for hosting mass gatherings and violating face-covering mandates recently. Police responded to the popular restaurant after receiving multiple complaints of COVID-19 violations.
