Stamford Deli Clerk Caught Selling Beer To Darien Teens A Stamford deli may soon no longer be allowed to sell alcohol to any customers after being busted by police selling beer to a group of teenagers without properly asking for ID. While conducting an OUI enforcement detail at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Friday night, Stamford Police Lt. Thomas Scanlan drove by the Hope Street Mini Mart when he spotted several “young males” in the store who appeared to be purchasing alcohol.
