Norwalk Felon Charged With Shooting Himself, Police Say A 25-year-old Norwalk man who was shot, causing a large response, has been charged with shooting himself and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Moses Jeannot turned himself in to Norwalk Police on Tuesday, March 21 for the incident which took place on Monday, Feb. 20 on Dry Hill Road. According to Norwalk Police Sgt. Found Shot In Legs In Norwalk, Police Say A man was found shot in the legs in Fairfield County after police received multiple phone calls reporting gunshots. The incident took place in Norwalk around 11 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4 in the area of South Main Street and Merritt Street. Responding officers located a crime scene in the area of South Main Street, but not a victim, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.  A short time later Norwalk dispatch received a call from Norwalk Hospital, who reported that a man suffering from a gunshot wound had just arrived by private vehicle, Blake said.
