19: Here's Percentage Concerned Of Exposure While Food Shopping, New Study Shows
Forty-five percent of those surveyed cited concerns about exposure to COVID-19 when food shopping at the grocery store, according to a survey conducted by Acosta. However, 55 percent of shoppers are preparing and eating meals at home more often; according to polling results, 44 percent of those surveyed reported that they ate breakfast at home every day, as opposed to 33 percent before the COVID-19 pandemic began. As residents across the region scramble for ways to purchase foods without going to grocery stores during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, restaurant distributors are beginning to deliver to homes. Popular Deli On Westchester/Fairfield County Border Under New Ownership After 31 Years
After 31 years in business, West Lane Pizza & Deli in Ridgefield, an iconic spot near the Northern Westchester/Fairfield County border, will be operating under new owners. Since 1988, owners John and Anna Saoulidis have run the Ridgefield staple, which officially closed its doors as of Tuesday, Dec. 31. The location will now be run by new owner Kosta Efstathiades, whose father sold the spot to the Saoulidis’ more than 30 years ago.
