Shannon Calhoun, 47, of Bridgeport, has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after he was found in possession of a .40 caliber handgun on May 22. At the time of his arrest, Calhoun was also in possession of approximately eight pounds of marijuana and hundreds of dollars in cash.
