Police Searching For SUV Involved In Crash At Stop & Shop In Fairfield County Police are asking the public for help locating an SUV that struck another vehicle in a grocery store parking lot in Fairfield County and then fled the area.  The accident took place around noontime on Wednesday, June 16 at the Stop & Shop in the Town of Fairfield on Villa Avenue.  According to police, the vehicle believed to be a 1999-2002 green Toyota 4-Runner would likely have damage to the right side with red paint transfer also likely.   Anyone with information on the identity or location of the vehicle or its operator is asked to contact Officer Mark Letsch of …

Juvenile Driving Stolen Vehicle Is Killed In Fairfield County Crash, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are investigating an incident in which a juvenile was killed after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle he was driving. The incident took place around 8:05 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, when Westport Police received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from the Exxon Gas Station, located at 1510 Post Road East in Westport, said Fairfield Police Chief Robert Kalamaras and Westport Police Chief Fotios Koskinas.
