Restaurant Workers Save Person From Raging Fire In Norwalk A person burned during a blaze in Fairfield County was rescued by good Samaritans who work at a nearby restaurant.  The incident occurred in Norwalk on Friday, April 26, in the rear of 607 Main Ave.  According to Deputy Chief Jonathan Maggio of the Norwalk Fire Department, arriving firefighters found a 1,000-square-foot area of brush burning between the Norwalk River and the rear parking area. Fast Moving Fire: Antique Car Destroyed In Norwalk A two-story detached garage housing an antique car was destroyed in Fairfield County during an early morning fire. The fire took place in Norwalk around 12:35 a.m., Wednesday, May 24 at 163 Perry Ave. Deputy Chief Timothy Reardon, of the Norwalk Fire Department, said arriving crews found flames coming from the fully-involved structure.
