The incident took place in Norwalk around 12:20 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26 at a home on Hillandale Manor. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call regarding a shooting. The threat was made Monday, Dec. 20 against Stratford's two middle schools, police said. Burglary Reported At Popular Restaurant In Ridgefield Ridgefield Police are actively investigating the theft of a cash drawer from a popular local restaurant.  The burglary took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Hideaway Restaurant on Grove Stree, said Ridgefield Police Capt. Shawn Platt. A cash drawer containing $300 was reported to be missing from the restaurant, Platt said.  There was no evidence of forced entry, and there are no suspects at this time, he added. Police found the man's body around 8:45 a.m., Thursday, May 9, after the Westport Police Department received a call regarding the body in the area of 132 Beachside Ave., said Westport Police Lt.
