Norwalk Man Accused Of Strangling Girlfriend In Westport A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly strangling and beating his girlfriend after reading her text messages. Denis Mora Blanco, age 28, of Norwalk, was charged in Westport on Friday, Feb. 2, after being stopped on I-95 without headlights and a bumper dragging on the ground. According to Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police, during the stop, the officer noticed that Blanco had scratches to his face and fresh blood on his clothing.  In the passenger seat was a woman who was later identified as being in a dating relationship with Blanco.
