Teen Accused Of Ramming CT State Police Cruiser With Septic Truck
A Connecticut teen was charged with criminal mischief after allegedly ramming a septic truck into a state police cruiser following an altercation with a woman. The incident occurred in New London County around 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5 near 136 Norwich Westerly Road in North Stonington. When troopers arrived, Donovan Beard, age 18, of Norwich, was driving a septic truck that "he had illegally gained access to," according to Connecticut State Police. Suspect Nabbed In Fairfield County Shooting, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested for a shooting that took place earlier this month. Kevin Beason, age 23, of Stratford was arrested on Thursday, June 17 by Stratford Police in connection with a shooting that occurred on Garibaldi Avenue on Tuesday, June 1. Beason was arrested on a warrant and held on a $250,000 dollar bond, said Stratford PD Capt Frank Eannotti. Five Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car Into Police Cruiser In Fairfield
A group of five young men and women in a stolen vehicle drove head-on into a Fairfield police car in an effort to escape. The incident took place around 4 a.m. Monday when a Fairfield police officer patrolling the area of Pequot Avenue observed a suspicious vehicle traveling on Westway Road, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. As the officer began to investigate, the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed down Old South Road.
