K9 Finds Cocaine, More During Wrong-Way CT DUI Stop: Police A Connecticut police dog discovered a stash of narcotics in the trunk of a car pulled over for an apparent DUI, authorities said. The New London County incident occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 27 in the city of Norwich, according to Connecticut State Police. It was around 2:15 a.m. when officers, who were driving on Laurel Avenue, noticed a car coming towards them, driving into the opposite lane. CT Woman Killed With Axe By Ex-Boyfriend, Police Say A Connecticut woman was allegedly killed by an ex-boyfriend she had an order of protection and restraining order against after being attacked with an axe. New Haven County resident Julie Minogue, age 40, of Milford, was found by police around 9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6 received a 911 call from her 17-year-old son. Robert Mosley, age 54, formerly of Bridgeport and Norwalk, please guilty on Thursday, Sept. 22 in Bridgeport to possession of child pornography, said Leonard C Boyle, Acting US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. A resident of Hamden most of her life, she was a graduate of Albertus Magnus College and Yale Law School. After 25 years in the state's Legislative Commissioners' Office, she had a long career as a state and federal judge, named Connecticut's first female Superior Court Judge in 1974, and the first female Federal Judge in the state in 1978.
