Fairfield County Crack Dealer Nabbed As He Steps Off Train, Police Say A 67-year-old Fairfield County man was allegedly busted with crack cocaine as he stepped off a train. Moses Williams, of Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 4, after the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit received a tip that he would be arriving with drugs, said Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police. Multiple Shots Fired In Busy Area During Morning Commute In Fairfield County, Police Say Residents of a busy Fairfield County city street were ducking for cover when shots began flying during the morning commute. The shooting took place around 8 a.m., Monday, Sept. 27 near the corner of Richmond Hill Avenue and Mission Street in Stamford. Teen Nabbed With Loaded Gun After Officers Pull Over BMW In Fairfield County, Police Say A 17-year-old was nabbed with a loaded handgun after being stopped in a black BMW whose tags did not match the vehicle. The teen was arrested around 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, July 20 in Stamford. Members of the Narcotics Unit who were patrolling the area of West Main and Rose Park Avenue in response to complaints of drug dealings, assaults, and other nefarious behavior, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin.
